At Pakenham Osteopathy, we believe every client deserves exceptional care, personalised attention and a treatment plan that is designed around their individual needs. We also believe in being transparent about something that is rarely discussed in healthcare: experience matters.

That is why we have a tiered fee structure.

PakenhamOsteo Clinic 2024 025 1Our osteopaths have different levels of experience, training, clinical knowledge and time in practice. While every member of our team is highly valued and supported to provide excellent care, our more senior osteopaths have developed additional skills and clinical experience over many years. Our fees reflect that difference.

This is not about one osteopath being “better” than another. It is about recognising that experience has value.

Think about it like professional sport. A talented young player can have enormous potential, but there is a difference between someone in their first few seasons and an experienced player who has spent 10 or 15 years developing their skills, learning from thousands of situations and understanding how to perform under pressure. Both have value, but their experience is different. The same applies to osteopathy.

At Pakenham Osteopathy, we have been helping people live happier, healthier lives since 2004. Today, our team of osteopaths brings together decades of combined clinical experience, and we have delivered more than 150,000 treatments. We also pride ourselves on matching clients with an osteopath experienced in treating their particular condition, while providing education, tailored treatment and a personalised recovery plan.

Over the years, we have learned that expecting every practitioner to have exactly the same level of clinical experience isn’t fair—to our practitioners or to our clients.

An osteopath should be allowed to learn, develop their confidence and build their clinical experience without feeling that they need to replicate the knowledge of someone who has been practising for 7+ years. At the same time, our senior osteopaths have should be able to have their 7+ years of learning, mistakes, successes and advanced clinical skills recognised and appropriately valued.

Our tiered fees allow us to do both. Importantly, the choice remains with you.

WEB PakenhamOsteopahy 232Some clients are happy to see any member of our team and enjoy building a relationship with different osteopaths as their needs change. Others specifically request a senior osteopath because they value their additional experience and are happy to pay a little more for it. Neither choice is right or wrong. Our job is to provide you with the information and options so you can make the decision that is right for you.

We also believe our pricing structure supports a stronger team culture. It allows our less experienced osteopaths to focus on learning and growing, while recognising and rewarding the expertise of our senior practitioners. Ultimately, tiered fees aren’t about putting a price on one person’s worth or suggesting that one practitioner cares more than another. They are simply an honest acknowledgement that experience brings value.

At Pakenham Osteopathy, we want every member of our team to thrive—and every client to receive care that gives them the best possible chance of achieving their goals. Because when you come to Pakenham Osteopathy, our goal is simple: to help you get results and live a happy, healthy life.
